Illustration Friday - topic: Clean

I think this one kind of speaks for itself. I made this watercolour as a spread to submit as a sample to Babybug, so this is a cropped version. I haven't worked out my poem for it yet. I haven't heard back about my Rainy Day poem submission to Babybug, but I did get a rejection letter for Sticky Food. Too bad... I'll keep trying though.

  11. Adorable! The transparent shower curtains! The braided rug! The claw feet on the tub! Claire this is a wonderful illustration. (Also, I can't believe they didn't accept the Sticky Poem! I hope you do your own book of Poems someday because I know a number of little peeps who would find them very fun! I look forward to reading more of them.)

I'm sorry about "Sticky Food". I absolutely love that one. It reminds me of Frances (whom I adore) (just in case you don't know who I'm talking about: http://www.ocelotfactory.com/hoban/frances.html )
