Sideways scarf - Frances sleeping
>> Friday, December 23, 2005
Here's my first Christmas project that is no longer a secret, a scarf for my friend Ben. I gave it to him yesterday and he really liked it, so that was good. He asked me to knit him a scarf, a lot of people have asked me to make things for them this year, including my almost 4 year old niece who actually picked out the yarn she wanted and described how big the bag should be! So cute.
In other news, Frances found out what my Christmas present from Bradley is, got really excited about it, then conked out on the sofa before he could tell me. The animals sleep ALL THE TIME, except for Peter, who as you can see has a particularly vigilant look in the second picture. I can only assume he's planning something.

I really love that scarf, the colors are awesome :-)
With a smile that big, there could only be visions of sugar plums dancing in Frances' head.
Great scarf, I've only made a couple that seem to appeal to men, you've inspired me to give it another shot! Where did you get your tag/label made? I've been trying to find a place in TO. Thanks!
I made mine myself, because it's really inexpensive that way and you can make as many as you want anytime. I typed my name/logo out many times on a page in Illustrator (you could use Photoshop or Word) and then reversed it and printed it onto iron-on paper. Then cut the paper into strips and ironed it onto twill tape with a space between each one. Now I have a big roll and I can cut a label off and sew it on anytime.
